Makawao History Museum Sponsors Jeff Peterson, One of Hawaii's Most Versatile Musicians!

Makawao History Museum is proud to sponsor one of the most versatile musicians in Hawaii today, Jeff Peterson, on our float in the 62nd Annual Makawao Rodeo Parade on July 1st, 2017.

Jeff grew up on Haleakala Ranch, and specializes in classical, jazz, and slack key guitar. He's been a contributer on two Grammy Award-winning recordings and has also been honored with seven Na Hoku Hanohano Awards.

Makawao History Museum is a non-profit free museum nestled in the heart of Makawao Town.

This 4-day event celebrates July 4th with a rodeo, parade, and town festival. We'd love to see you there!

Sounds like Makawao has a lot of fun stuff going on for July 1st! We checked out the rodeo once and it was great fun - as much as I adore being on the beach and in view of the palm trees, it's also nice to see the rest of what Maui has to offer and UpCountry is amazing! There's a lot to see and do up there, and too many people overlook it :)
