West Maui Cottages - Our Home Away from Home in Paradise!!!

If you've ever wanted to rent your own home in Paradise...West Maui Cottages is the place to go! We've stayed in the fancy resorts...which we LOVE and are awesome...but on our last visit we decided to rent a home in Lahaina for us and another couple who came to Maui with us.

We did some searching and ultimately found WMC...there are several homes available - from quaint and perfect for a couple alone...to big and accommodating for groups of 9 people. The homes are in a lovely upscale neighborhood just 5 minutes south of Lahaina with breathtaking views of the ocean. We watched the whales each morning from the wrap around porch as we had our morning fix of Lion Coffee. :)

Everything you need and more is supplied at the homes...from a bbq grill, beach towels, body boards, etc. and we found that the previous guests had left behind their unopened spirits and beer for the next guests who came along.

The owner of the homes is sweet and accommodating...helpful in every sense of the word.

We stayed in the 2BR/2BA Ocean Cottage...at $250 a night for 4 people...you simply can't beat it!

On a side note...we took a fishing trip the 2nd day on Maui and the Captain of the boat gave us all the Mahi, Ahi & Ono we wanted...we grilled fresh fish several nights for dinner...just another way to save a few bucks. :)

It's amazing how much you can save by renting a vacation home in Maui, isn't it! $250 a night for 4 people is certainly a fantastic rate, and so much less expensive than most resorts!
